Scientific Achievements & Selected Publications
|
He has devoted himself to the innovation research of novel green pesticides, relative structure/activity relationship (SAR) and mode of action. Following President S.X. Yang's instructions he organized the establishment of the National Key Labotatory in 1985. He and his colleagues organized and established the National Pesticide Engineering Research Center (Tianjin) in Nankai University in 1996, which is the only institute situated on a campus to undertake the pesticide R&D from molecular design to final industrialization in China. He and his research team firstly discovered a new eco-friendly Monosulfuron as the first super-active herbicide with independent intellectual properties licensed by governmental official certificates to apply in millet fields in northern part of China with excellent weed control efficacy, which was previously a technical blank spot both at home and abroad. |
