The EOC Symposium had launched by academician Zhou Qilin, and it opens annually in the charge of the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-Organic Chemistry with a different theme every year, and this year's topic is “Transition Metal Catalysis for Organic Synthesis”.
The symposium had invited 17 renowned chemists from worldwide to address academic lectures and 11 domestic outstanding young professors to put up wall newspapers for better academic interactions. Moreover, 200 faculty teachers and students of the State Key Laboratory, among whom 32 postgraduate students made wallpaper presentations, attended the conference.
